I don’t care what you think! I’m going to give it to you straight. I am so looking forward to eating some good ice cream when I get back to the States. Not this non-creamy icy garbage they sell here. It is definitely going to be a change compared to the way we have been living over the last 2 years when we hit American soil. The food, the language, the traffic laws and the flushing of toilet paper is going to take a little getting used to again. But, change is part of life and is usually a sign of progress, unless it is the Obama style, (Oh I’m just joking! Don’t get your panties all up in a bunch!) While change is not always enjoyable, change can be good.
Here is a picture of one of the building’s when we arrived and how it looks now. Like I said, “Change is good!”
We will be back in the states for about 3 months. During those 3 months we plan on doing what we can to return to Honduras to start a new ministry here in January. We will be leaving the camp ministry here to hopefully start a program to disciple and train youth starting right here in our very own village. We have enjoyed parts of the camp ministry here and have worked super hard over the last 2 years serving God here. It has been a good experience, but change is now upon us. We have lot’s to do to make this transition successful and ask for your prayers.
We are super excited to share what has been done over the last 2 years and look forward to seeing all of you when we set foot on home turf.
