Yo, yo, yo…just wanted to make a shout out to all my peeps in the good ol’ US of A.
Here we are in the midst of another Christmas here in Honduras. Thanksgiving which is one of my favorite holidays has passed and the eve of a new year is on the horizon.
This November was one of the most challenging for us in terms of being thankful. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, something else went wrong. First our car motor blew, then it was our computer, then the cabin I have been working on was robbed. It seemed like every time I turned around something was breaking. It was really frustrating to say the least. Yet looking back It had its blessings.
Despite all of our things breaking, we have all been relatively healthy. It is better to have a broken motor than a broken mother…the kids agree with me! After all, who would do the dishes? Then we had family and friends come to visit which is always a blessing. So despite its annoying difficulties, God’s blessings were abundant as always.
So as we approach the season in which we are reminded of the greatest gift ever given (Jesus). I am reminded of the gifts from my family in Christ. We are so thankful for all of you who through your prayers and financial gifts make it possible for us to serve the Lord here in Honduras. You are a huge part of this ministry here and we are super grateful.
We are excited for another year of service here at the camp. It looks like we will have a busy year as 4 work teams and multiple camps are on the calendar.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers… You are loved and appreciated.
