What Excites You

08 Aug

There are a few things in life that really excite me. One of course is my wife; But what else in life really gets my blood going? What makes my insides ream with passion and emotion? What elevates my heartbeat and moves my soul? As I thought about this question, I began to teem with joy as I came to the realization that serving the Lord in missions really excites me. I like talking about it, I like hanging out with others who like talking about it. I like being involved in it and will do whatever it takes to play a role in going myself or helping others go.

Fortunately for me, God has been working out the details for me to be a go-er. As I type this post, I currently have 4 days of formal missions training to finish. After that we will be heading back to Connecticut to finish raising up a support team. A team to hold us up in prayer and finances. So many have already got on board to help and we are excited for those of you who will partner with us in this awesome adventure of bringing God’s word and love to the Honduran people. Thank you who have joined us thus far.

All I can say is that I’m super excited to serve God in missions…What excites you?

In Christ, Tim

Just love reading your blogs, and hearing of the passion you are feeling as you get ready to serve the Lord, in Honduras. Please keep letting us know all that you can. We are praying for you and your entire family. Bill and Lynn (Seagraves) Fortin

It also exictes me that you have such a passion for serving Christ. From before you were born your Mom and I have prayed for a son who would serve God full time. God has answered our prays. I will miss you and your family being so far away, but there is no other place I would like you to be. You have our full support. May God richly bless you and your family in your service to Him.
